The Susan B Komen Race For The Cure is a phenomena and scores and scores of those affected by Breast cancer are disciples. I have been one. I remember the first race I participated in. Rose participated. Then she was reasonably healthy. I was amazed that so many runners and walkers were honoring others. It was one of the greatest spirits of community that I've ever known. And, recently my daughter ran with several dear friends. It was a three day love fest and money raising event. The Organization has raised millions for breast cancer. And, now, it appears they have been stupid and injected politics into a process that was unbelievably successful. The "hidden cards" have not surfaced but I would be very surprised if the Susan B Komen Race For The Cure doesn't take a big hit for being dumb.
