Yesterday, I stopped by Starbucks for coffee. Sitting around, I noticed one of the nurses from Mt Zion Hospital, talking and hugging various ones. I recognized the nurse from the cancer Infusion Center.
I immediately thought, "Living well is the best revenge." Her interaction with these cancer patients amplified, "Living well is the best revenge." To me, it means you are pretty untouchable.
And, from my perspective, "living well" ignores the hassles of life. When you think that you are involved in constant life and death struggles, the little picky bullshit is simply irrelevant. I am thinking of all those people I saw at Starbucks. They were so happy to see their friend. It was like old home week. Hugging, laughing. Now that is "living well." Inspirational.
LIVING WELL IS THE BEST REVENGE.
